Kokanee fishing on Merwin Reservoir is hot from may into early October.  Limits of five fish per person are the norm.  This season was a great one with hundreds of Kokanee put in the boat.  We fish with ultralight gear and downriggers.  We use ultralight rods so you feel the fish fighting and making runs.  These trips are great for every angler from the youngster or beginner, to the expert who wants to experince the great fight a Kokanee can provide on ultra light tackle.
